Hello wo- oh, wait…

Sorry to jump the gun here, but this blog is still under construction. Well, since you’re here and everything, I might as well tell you what this blog is about and how it came to be.
Like I’m sure a lot of KO fans out there were, I was deeply depressed when I saw that ERT was closing shop. I really liked that blog, and this decision came out of nowhere like a ton of bricks. So as I sat there in Web Mastery in my peripheral stupor – there wasn’t much else to do anyway – I decided that I would make my own blog dedicated to the force of nature that is Keith Olbermann. Who knows, it might actually keep me from going insane.
The title is something only those up to date on the various internet memes have a chance at getting, so I might as well explain it. It comes from the phrase, “All your base are belong to us,” one of the many examples of poor translation in the game Zero Wing. My mind managed to draw a straight line from, “All your base,” to “Olbermann,” as only my mind can. I have no intention of trying to control KO, mainly because he cannot be controlled, but also because I like him uncontrolled.
So, yeah. This is yet another ‘Olberblogg,’ if you will, though this will probably be centered more around Countdown and other Olbermann happenings; I may even add a pinch of Rachel Maddow stuff. My reasoning behind this is that even after attending football games every Friday night during the season for nearly four years straight, I still don’t get it, nor do I understand any other sports stuff. Yes, I could still blog about Keith on Football Night in America, but then it would just become a giant ramble fest much like this post is turning into.
So, that’s pretty much everything you need to know about the blog. I’ll start the blog the Monday after I get my header done. I have a simple one in mind, so it shouldn’t take too horribly long…

I’m on board! Thanks for creating this.

As a former blogger at ERT, I like your idea, but this is very hard to look at and read. The type is faint and the background color and lime green accent is glaring and distracting. (I love this color and frequently wear it, but I cannot take it visually on a computer screen.)
I have damage to my vision from an auto accident. There may well be others who will have trouble with this, which is why I am alerting you.
I used to work in publishing, and a cardinal rule for submissions is to make them as reader friendly as possible..
I cannot make a comment on content as I simply could not take the eye strain of trying to read it.
Good Luck.

Great Improvement in readability. Thanks.
It will be interesting to see what happens once you are up and running.
I am also voting for Olbermann to be uncontrolled, and I hate to break it to you, but we are all insane, or we would not be doing this.
And, while I understand football, I do not enjoy it at the pro level, nor pro basketball. Abnormal size far too often has simply swamped out true talent exhibited by the average sized and shrimps among us.
